About

Tian is pronounced like “ian” with a “t” in front. It’s short for Christian, but no one’s called me that since 1st grade.

At the time, I was attending primary school in England, and they had a strict “no-nicknames” policy.

Since first grade, I’ve gone on to an almost 20 year career in advertising. I’ve worked on digital, social, and above-the-line campaigns for clients such as Adobe, Visa, Samsung, IBM, Xerox, American Express, Google, Starbucks, Breyers, Nest, Nestle, and PayPal—both as an art director and a creative director.

Sometimes I lead creative teams, sometimes I get my hands dirty in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate. Sometimes, I do all of that at once.

In high school, I spent one basketball season as the team mascot. I wore a huge foam pirate head. That’s, admittedly, a smaller part of my overall skillset.
